What is the 9th row? It is a row that was created for Charities! 100% of our stores registration/sign-up fee went to a Charity! That is exciting right? Well, you can also help a Charity...... local Charities! When you purchase a kit for the 9th row from us, we will divide 100% of the proceeds into 3 Charities.
Hello Everyone! Let me start out by saying the weather outside is absolutely amazing today and I look forward to many more sunny and near 80 degree days! I don't know about you but I really do enjoy working outside and mowing the grass when it isn't to terribly hot outside.
We made made it to Quilt Market in St. Louis last week and WOW, What an experience that was! I do not know how to explain it other than to tell you it was a roller coaster of many emotions. It was scary but exciting, overwhelming but educational, tiring but motivational and inspirational. I took TWO days of classes before Quilt Market started to get educated on trends, techniques and business. It is important to me as a Quilt shop owner to make those things a top priority. We have spent a lot of money and time on education because in this industry there is always something new and it is forever changing. After all, we can not best serve you our customers and friends without building our knowledge base. Fast forward to Friday and Walking through those doors for the first time EVER was even more thrilling! Vendors galore and quilters eye candy everywhere! Exciting, right? It truly is the moment you realize you should have bought a lottery ticket....... and with your fingers crossed.....you were the lucky winner of the grand prize! There were so many beautiful patterns, quilts and fabric's, I really do not know how one can decide. Thankfully, I ran into Pat Waelder, owner of Hickory Stick and she gave me some guidance. A few of our new finds at quilt market include Hope Yoder Designs and an amazing new liquid stabilizer. We have 410 bolts of fabric on order and I'm very excited to announce that Moda, Tula Pink and Kimberbell are in the line up, among others! We have some of the items in our stock now and invite you stop in anytime to check them out and be sure stop in frequently to check out our new shipments. "Sew What" is Happening in the
Shoppe in June ....... SEWCIALIZING - SHOW AND TELL!!!! I don't know about you, but I LOVE Show and Tell. It is my favorite part of quilt meetings. We will host it one time each month and we will have Donuts, Orange Juice and Coffee available. Please bring something for show and tell and, if you do, you will receive 20% off one regular priced item purchased that day. 20% off sale cannot be combined with any other sales. Please feel free to bring a friend along, even if they do not sew! We want this to be a fun and joyful time so please bring any jokes or stories along also. You are welcome to come without a show and tell item, but won't be eligible for the 20% discount.Saturday, June 3, 2017 10:00am - 12:00pm
